ABC News Online
The ABC News Online Investigative Unit encourages whistleblowers, and others with access to information they believe should be revealed for the public good, to contact us.
To leak a story, please fill out the form below and click the 'Send' button.
Please click here if you wish to send information anonymously.
The only difference between the Australian unencrypted ABC News Online Investigative Unit Contact Form and their "anonymous" ABC News Online Investigative Unit Contact Form is that the latter does noes not have fields for Name, Address, Email or Phone.
Because both web forms use the standard ABC News website template, then, just like other mainstream media websites, these include website visitor tracking features, accessible by a third party company or organisation e.g. in this case the WebTrends SmartSource Data Collector Tag.
This destroys any promise that whistleblower are only revealing themselves to the investigative journalists, when using these web forms.
It is possible to upload photos and video clips via a web form or even via mobile phone, to the main ABC News broadcast organisation, but not specifically to the ABC News Online Investigative Unit. There are no promises of any anonymity at all, but you do at least retain copyright.
